We are a team of expert coaches who live and breath running, whether you're lacing up for your first 5k or training for a sub-3 marathon, we're here to help you run better, smarter, and more joyfully.

Led by Coach Laura and supported by a dynamic, credentialed team, we offer more than workouts. We offer community, collaboration, support, and a deeply personal, science- backed approach to running that meets you exactly where you are, and takes you where you never thought you could go.

COACH LAURA

RRCA Level 2 Coach •  Certified Personal Trainer • Sports Performance Specialist

Hi, I’m Laura – coach, athlete, mom of two, and lifelong runner. My journey started in middle school and deepened after becoming a mom. I specialize in performance trajectory efficiency and understand the challenges of balancing training, career, and family.

My coaching approach centers on support and clear communication. I believe most runners have untapped potential – not from lack of ability, but from lack of nurturing the process. I focus on unlocking that potential through consistency, trust, and communication.

COACH AMANDA

UESCA Certified Running Coach • Registered Dietician Nutritionist

Hi, I’m Amanda – a competitive runner, coach, and Registered Dietitian. I fell in love with running in high school and competed at the D1 level in college. After a break due to injury and burnout, I returned to racing in 2018 and qualified for Boston in my first marathon.

Whether you’re starting fresh, dealing with recurring injuries, or trying to fit training into a busy life, I’d love to help. My coaching style is compassionate, adaptable, and grounded in both science and experience.

Hi, I’m Mike. I started running in middle school and got serious about the sport in 2016 with my first marathon. Since then, I’ve completed road races, ultras, and century bike rides. I’m also the GM at Big River Running Company and love helping runners grow.

As a coach, I focus on long-term progress, individualized plans, and sustainable training practices grounded in evidence-based strategies.

Hi, I’m Kim – wife, mom of two, and lifelong learner. I started running in 2018 as “me time” and soon fell in love with the process and community. I trained with Filla Endurance in 2021 and soon became a coach to help others the way it helped me.

I prioritize connection, adaptability, and helping runners build lasting habits that support their goals even when life gets hectic.

USATF Level 1 Coach • Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)

Hi, I’m Alec – a competitive runner and DPT student. I’ve raced at the U.S. Olympic Trials (2021, 2024) and posted top-5 national finishes in the road mile and 5K. I’ve learned from some of the best in the sport and aim to bring that knowledge to every athlete I coach.

Balancing elite racing with graduate school, I know how to design smart, efficient training that fits into busy lives.

Hi, I’m Chris. I started running in college and fell in love with racing in 2011. As someone who became a runner as an adult, I relate to beginners and understand how intimidating starting out can feel. I’ll meet you where you are – and help you grow from there.
