1:1 Virtual Strength Coaching
  • 3 runner specific strength workouts delivered weekly via strength training platform
  • All exercises come with video tutorials, rep suggestions, and form cues.
  • Unlimited communication via email and training platform.

*Athletes participating in strength training program must have access to basic exercise equipment, including but not limited to dumbbells or kettlebells, stability balls, medicine balls, and mini-loop resistance bands.

CUSTOM TRAINING PLANS


After initial zoom consultation, athletes may choose from the following durations for a custom training plan written for their individual running goal:
  • 12-week custom training plan
  • 16-week custom training plan
  • 20-week custom training plan
  • 24-week custom training plan

Custom plans are written based on individual needs (schedule, fitness level, personal preferences, etc.) of each athlete. They are delivered through the same training platform we use with 1:1 monthly coaching clients.

**Custom plans are modifiable a maximum of 1 time during the training process. Each plan takes 1-2 weeks to finalize.

IN-PERSON COACHING


Athletes who are currently on our 1:1 roster or have purchased a custom training plan within the 3 months preceding the session date may reach out to schedule the following:
  • Pacing Session
  • Virtual Personal Training Session
  • Running Form Analysis & Suggestions
  • Timing/Support of Effort Sessions

In-person coaching sessions are available to athletes local to the greater St. Louis area. Date, time, and location are at our discretion.

Educational background in kinesiology and/or exercise science is a great indicator of a qualified running coach.

There are several organizations that provide certification programs for running coaches as well. Some of the prominent running coach certifications to look for are the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA), Jack Daniels VDOT, Lydiard School of Coaching, and USATF. Each of these certifications is slightly different in style and method so it would be advisable to do some research and decide what will work best for your training needs.

There are also certifications such as the NASM and ACE which provide various certifications for fitness professionals who may or may not specialize in training runners.
